Toubleshoot Uploading / Downloading Inspections

Inspections Not Downloading

  1. Is the Users profile active on the company the user is linked to
  2. If the user has moved from one agency to another, the user must:

2.2. Log out of the mobile app

2.3. Log back into the app with their new user details

  1. User has permission to view / use inspections and assets (properties)
  2. User has access to the portfolio for the property the inspection is for
  3. User is the assigned inspector to the inspection
  4. User is connected to the internet and did sync:

6.1 Swipe down on IOS

6.2. Press sync icon on android

  1. Terminate app: IOS - https://support.apple.com/en-za/HT201330

7.1. Android: Show recent apps by clicking on the square button at the bottom of the screen and tap on the X to close the app or click clear all.

  1. Turn wifi on / off and try syncing again

8.1. Restarting the device won't change anything unless the user couldn't terminate the app using the instructions above


Inspections Not Uploading

  1. Is the user active on the company the user is linked to
  2. User has permission to view / use inspections and assets
  3. User has access to the portfolio for the property the inspection is for
  4. User is the inspector on the inspection
  5. User is connected to the internet and have good stable connection
  6. Turn wifi on / off
  7. Log out of mobile app
  8. Switch device off for 30 seconds (do not restart)
  9. Log back into mobile app
  10. Retry upload

10.1. Android: Long tap and select upload inspection

10.2. Swipe left and select upload inspection

  • Only create a data backup if the above didn't resolve the issue.

Inspections Not Showing on Desktop

  1. User has access to the portfolio for the property the inspection is for
  2. User has permission to view / use inspections and assets
  3. Inspection created on app and not uploaded yet
  4. If inspection has been uploaded and is not visible on the desktop, re-upload the inspection as above stipulated

Property not showing on Desktop

  1. User has access to the portfolio for the property the inspection is for
  2. User has permission to view assets
  3. Check Archived folder
  4. If you are a Payprop client, run the Payprop drag and drop function to update asset list - click here for article
  5. If you are a RAMS (WeconnectU Financial System) client, run the sync between RAMS and RedRabbit - click here for article
