FAQ - How do I Archive / Restore an Inspection

To Archive an inspection is basically like a soft delete. This action would only be needed if an incorrect inspection was scheduled or a mistake was made of some sort.

It is strongly advised to Archive an inspection as these inspections can still be view or restored from the archived inspections dashboard, especially when an inspection was accidentally archived. This is not the same for deleted inspections. 

How to archive or delete an Inspection

Step 1 - On the main menu select Inspections to open the list of Inspections

Step 2 - Use the search field to search for the Inspection in question. Click View to open the Inspection dashboard.

Step 3 - From the Options, drop-down menu select Archive or Delete if you want to permanently delete the Inspection.

How to Restore and Inspection

Step 1 - On the main menu select Inspections to open the list of Inspections

Step 2 - From the Options drop-down menu select View Archived

Step 3 - Use the search field to search for the Inspection in question. Click View to open the Inspection dashboard.

Step 4 - From the Options drop-down menu select Restore.
