FAQ: How do I change the asset name on an inspection
This article will explain what to do when you have done an inspection under the wrong asset name.
- Upload the Inspection (even if it is the incorrect asset)
- Navigate to the Inspections dashboard on the portal
- Locate the Inspection and open the Inspections dashboard for the Inspection. Remember that you will now have to search for the incorrect asset to find the Inspection.
- From the Options, drop-down menu select Change Asset (see example below)
- Search for the correct asset and select from the drop-down list of assets. Note - as you start typing a shorter filtered list will be displayed.
- Click Change to change the asset and update the inspection.
